Dr Smith is delighted to announce that she has been offered the post as Medical Advisor to the Thalidomide Trust. She will be supporting people with significant complex health problems across the UK.
To be able to undertake this important role effectively, she has decided to step down from the Partnership and Management Team at Houghton Close Surgery but will be remaining in the surgery working as a salaried doctor.
So, whilst her name might not be on the front of the building, rest assured – she is still going to be here two days a week.
